Peaceful Soleutions: Collaborative Montage
Foot for Thought is collecting images of decorated feet, as viewed from the soles, to be used in a 2010 Global Art Project for Peace montage. Anyone, anywhere is invited to decorate their own soles and those of others. Paint, markers, pen and ink, henna, sharpies, or other means may be used.
Once the artwork is completed, photograph the feet and send a jpg file, no larger than 6"x4" 300 dpi, to footforthought@gmail.com Write GAP feet in the subject line. Include your name, address, and email address in the body of the letter. There is no fee to participate.
Send all information and inquiries to footforthought@gmail.com Subject GAP feet.
Everyone submitting a footprint and an email address will be sent a digital file of the completed montage sometime in mid-2010. At that time, you will also be notified as to the exchange partner. In the past, our art has gone to Iraq, Senegal, Germany, Australia, Canada, Russia, Ireland, India, Mexico, and the US.
